Customer Care
These terms apply when you buy a consultation, treatment or product from Stride Pharmacy. Please read them before you order. Our Terms of Use cover use of our website, and our Privacy Policy explains how we use your information.
1. About us
Stride Pharmacy Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 16917655), registered office 3 Caxton Road, Preston, PR2 9ZZ, VAT number 511010768.
We are a pharmacy registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), number 9013195, at 3 Caxton Road, Preston, PR2 9ZZ.
Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Naeem Seth (GPhC 2234783).
Contact us on 01772 211933, at [email protected], or through your account.
2. Who can order
- You must order for yourself. Prescription medicines are prescribed for you personally and must not be shared.
- You must be 18 or over and live in the UK, with a UK delivery address.
- You must give complete and truthful answers in your consultation and tell us about any changes to your health or medicines.
3. How ordering works
1. Consultation. For prescription medicines you complete an online consultation. You may be asked to verify your identity, and for weight loss treatment to provide photo or video confirmation of your weight.
2. Payment authorisation. We take payment when you submit your order.
3. Clinical review. Our prescriber reviews your consultation and may contact you for more information. They decide whether treatment is safe and suitable for you. Submitting a consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
4. Our acceptance. The contract for a prescription medicine is formed only when our prescriber approves treatment and we confirm by email that your order is being dispensed. For non-prescription products, the contract is formed when we confirm dispatch.
5. If treatment is not suitable. If our prescriber decides not to prescribe, or you do not reply to our clinical team within 14 days, we cancel the order and give you a full refund, including any consultation fee, within 5 working days.
We may refuse or cancel an order, or stop supplying treatment, if we believe it is not clinically appropriate, if we cannot verify your identity, or if we suspect information is inaccurate. If we do, we refund you for anything not supplied
4. Prices and payments
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna’s terms also apply and Klarna, not Stride, provides the credit. Late payments with Klarna may affect your credit rating.
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. The price includes your consultation and medicine, plus needles and sharps bin where needed. Delivery charges are shown before you pay.
- The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order. If we make an obvious pricing error, we will contact you and you can choose whether to continue.
5. Treatment plans and subscriptions
- How it works. Weight loss plans renew every 4 weeks or 30 days depending on your medication. Before each supply you complete a short check-in, and our prescriber reviews it before your next medicine is sent.
- Payment. We take payment for each month when your check-in is approved. The price for each dose is shown in your account before you are charged.
- Reminders. We will remind you by email at least 7 days before each payment, with the amount and how to cancel. If your price changes, we will tell you at least 14 days before the change.
- No minimum term. You can cancel at any time in your account, by email or by phone. Cancelling is as easy as signing up. Cancellation takes effect for the next supply not yet dispatched; medicine already dispatched cannot be returned (see section 7).
- Introductory offers. If your first month is discounted, the full price and the date it applies from are shown before you pay, and in your first reminder.
- If we pause your plan. If our prescriber decides you should stop or change treatment, we will not charge you for medicine we do not send.
6. Delivery
- Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a safe place or neighbour you have chosen. If a parcel is lost or damaged before then, contact us within [7 days] of the expected delivery date and we will investigate with the courier and send a replacement or refund. You do not need to claim from the courier yourself.
- Parcels are packed discreetly with no reference to the contents.
- We deliver to UK addresses only, using Royal Mail or DPD. Delivery options and times are shown at checkout. Orders are dispatched after prescriber approval, and orders approved by 2pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day.
- Injectable weight loss medicines are sent in insulated packaging with cool packs. Put them in the fridge (2–8°C) as soon as they arrive. If a parcel is delayed or arrives warm, do not use the medicine and contact us straight away.
7. Your right to cancel
- Before dispatch. You can cancel any order at any time before it is dispatched, for a full refund, by contacting us or through your account.
- Prescription medicines. Once a prescription medicine has been dispensed and sent to you, it cannot be returned or resold. These are made up for you personally on the basis of your prescription, so the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once they have been dispatched.
- Non-prescription products. You can cancel within 14 days of delivery and return the product unopened and in its original packaging. Sealed health products cannot be returned once the seal is broken. We refund you within 14 days of receiving the return, including standard delivery costs.
- Safety. For safety reasons we cannot reuse returned medicines. Please do not send medicines back unless we ask you to.
8. If something is wrong with your order
Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. If your medicine or product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, past its expiry date, or was not kept at the right temperature in transit, contact us within 48 hours with your order number and, if possible, a photo. We will replace it or give you a refund. We may ask you to return the item or dispose of it safely.
9. Your responsibilities
- Read the patient information leaflet and use your medicine as prescribed.
- Tell us about side effects, changes to your health, new medicines, pregnancy or plans to become pregnant.
- Do not share your medicine or let anyone else use your account.
If you have a side effect, see our Complaints and side effects page.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you give us, or by events outside our reasonable control, but we will tell you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the effect.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, please tell us. Our complaints procedure explains how we handle complaints and how to escalate them.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you placed it. For ongoing plans, we will give you at least 30 days notice of any significant change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.
